About Us
What ClipSave does
ClipSave saves public videos from Instagram and Facebook as ordinary MP4 files. Paste a link, wait a second, and the file is yours. No account, no app, no browser extension.
It began with a small annoyance: reels that arrived on your phone completely silent. Instagram often stores a reel as two separate pieces, one carrying the picture and one carrying the audio, and most tools grab whichever they find first. ClipSave opens every candidate file and checks for a sound track before offering it to you.
How it works
When you paste a link, our server reads the public page behind it and finds the address of the video file. That file is then passed through to your device. Nothing is stored: no copy on our disk, no record of what you saved, no account tied to your name.
Because the request comes from our server and not from your browser, nothing about your Instagram or Facebook login is ever involved.
What it will not do
ClipSave only reads public posts. Private accounts, friends-only posts and anything behind a login stay out of reach, and that is by design rather than a limitation we plan to remove.
It also will not strip watermarks, bypass age restrictions, or help anyone republish work that is not theirs.
